Taking the natural gas distributed energy station in a hospital as an example, estimates the heating and cooling load by the unit area method, and determines the capacity of power generation equipment according to the electricity consumption of heating and cooling. Comparing the new energy supply system with the conventional electricity-gas supply system, analyses the benefit of the natural gas distributed energy station in the hospital from financial net present value, dynamic investment pay back period and financial internal rate of return in economy and by means of energy equivalent method in energy saving. The results show that the initial investment of the distributed energy system is 5.85 million yuan higher than that of the conventional sub supply system, the annual operation cost is 5.1958 million yuan lower, the financial net present value is 8.8712 million yuan, the dynamic investment payback period is 7.86 years, the financial internal rate is 17%, and the annual saved standard coal is 2 954 tons.
